Abraham's Covenant

Sarah's Covenant

Issac's Covenant

And God said, Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his seed after him. -- Gen 17:19 (KJV)

Ishmael and Issac

And as for Ishmael, I have heard thee: Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation. -- Gen 17:20 (KJV)

But my covenant will I establish with Isaac, which Sarah shall bear unto thee at this set time in the next year. -- Gen 17:21 (KJV)

Abraham's Sacrifice of Issac

And they came to the place which God had told him of; and Abraham built an altar there, and laid the wood in order, and bound Isaac his son, and laid him on the altar upon the wood. -- Gen 22:9 (KJV)

And Abraham stretched forth his hand, and took the knife to slay his son. -- Gen 22:10 (KJV)

Ishmael's Covenant

And God said unto Abraham, Let it not be grievous in thy sight because of the lad, and because of thy bondwoman; in all that Sarah hath said unto thee, hearken unto her voice; for in Isaac shall thy seed be called. -- Gen 21:12 (KJV)

And also of the son of the bondwoman will I make a nation, because he is thy seed. -- Gen 21:13 (KJV)

And Abraham rose up early in the morning, and took bread, and a bottle of water, and gave it unto Hagar, putting it on her shoulder, and the child, and sent her away: and she departed, and wandered in the wilderness of Beersheba. -- Gen 21:14 (KJV)

And the water was spent in the bottle, and she cast the child under one of the shrubs. -- Gen 21:15 (KJV)

In the space of 100 years following the death of Mohammed in 632, the Arabs had carried the sword of Islam from the Atlantic to the Indian Ocean, holding at one time, Spain, part of southern France, the isle of Sicily, all of North Africa, Egypts, all of Arabia, The Holy Land, Armenia, Persia, Afghanistan, and almost a third of India.

The empire of the Arabs was larger than that of Alexander the Great or of Rome. The Muslims carried the tourch of civilization for more than 500 years.

Issac has the covenant of Abraham

Esau sold his birthright to Jacob

Jacob's Ladder

Jacob's Pillow

And Jacob said unto Joseph, God Almighty appeared unto me at Luz in the land of Canaan, and blessed me, -- Gen 48:3 (KJV)

And said unto me, Behold, I will make thee fruitful, and multiply thee, and I will make of thee a multitude of people; and will give this land to thy seed after thee for an everlasting possession. -- Gen 48:4 (KJV)

Even by the God of thy father, who shall help thee; and by the Almighty, who shall bless thee with blessings of heaven above, blessings of the deep that lieth under, blessings of the breasts, and of the womb: -- Gen 49:25 (KJV)

But if ye will not hearken unto me, and will not do all these commandments; -- Lev 26:14 (KJV)

And if ye shall despise my statutes, or if your soul abhor my judgments, so that ye will not do all my commandments, but that ye break my covenant: -- Lev 26:15 (KJV)
