Part 35

A great multitude which no man could number

 

 

 

After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;  --  Rev 7:9 (KJV)

 

And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.  --  Rev 7:10 (KJV)

 

And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God,  --  Rev 7:11 (KJV)

 

Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.  --  Rev 7:12 (KJV)

 

And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?  --  Rev 7:13 (KJV)

 

And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.  --  Rev 7:14 (KJV)

 

 

 

Four Seals :  The Four Horsemen

 

 

 

 

Fifth Seal :  Great Multitude to be slaughtered

 

Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.  --  Mat 24:9 (KJV)

 

But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name's sake.  --  Luke 21:12 (KJV)

 

 

This is not the period of testing of the world. 

But it will be a persecution against the church!

 

 

 

Earthquakes shall continue to increase in frequency and intensity 

 

And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.  --  Luke 21:11 (KJV)

 

 

 

Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.  --  Rev 2:10 (KJV)

 

And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.  --  Mat 24:10 (KJV)

 

And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.  --  Mat 24:11 (KJV)

 

And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.  --  Mat 24:12 (KJV)

 

The Great Tribulation Period

 

For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.  --  Mat 24:21 (KJV)

 

But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.  --  Mat 24:13 (KJV)

 

 

 

Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:  --  Mat 24:29 (KJV)

 

Howl ye; for the day of the LORD is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty.  --  Isa 13:6 (KJV)

 

Therefore shall all hands be faint, and every man's heart shall melt:  --  Isa 13:7 (KJV)

 

And they shall be afraid: pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman that travaileth: they shall be amazed one at another; their faces shall be as flames.  --  Isa 13:8 (KJV)

 

Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it.  --  Isa 13:9 (KJV)

 

For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.  --  Isa 13:10 (KJV)

 

And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.  --  Isa 13:11 (KJV)

The preserving of the elect

 

And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.  --  Mat 24:22 (KJV)

Jesus Was The ONLY BEGOTTEN Son of God

 

And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.  --  John 1:14 (KJV)

 

No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.  --  John 1:18 (KJV)

 

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.  --  John 3:16 (KJV)

 

He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.  --  John 3:18 (KJV)

 

Jesus has become THE FIRST BEGOTTEN Son of God

 

 

 

God hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he hath raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second psalm, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee.  --  Acts 13:33 (KJV)

 

 

And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.  --  Col 1:18 (KJV)

 

 

For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?  --  Heb 1:5 (KJV)

 

And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.  --  Heb 1:6 (KJV)

 

 

So also Christ glorified not himself to be made an high priest; but he that said unto him, Thou art my Son, to day have I begotten thee.  --  Heb 5:5 (KJV)

 

As he saith also in another place, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.  --  Heb 5:6 (KJV)

 

 

And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,  --  Rev 1:5 (KJV)

 

 

Note the mentioning of two different heavenly

groups or orders of believers

 

 

The General Assembly

 

But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,  --  Heb 12:22 (KJV)

To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,  --  Heb 12:23 (KJV)

 

 

 

Church of The First Born

(or First Fruits)

 

For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.  --  Rom 8:29 (KJV)

 

 

And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.  --  Rom 8:23 (KJV)

 

 

Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.  --  James 1:18 (KJV)

 

 

These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.  --  Rev 14:4 (KJV)

 

 

And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:  --  Rev 12:1 (KJV)

 

And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.  --  Rev 12:2 (KJV)

 

And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.  --  Rev 12:3 (KJV)

 

And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.  --  Rev 12:4 (KJV)

 

And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.  --  Rev 12:5 (KJV)

 

 

And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child--  Rev 12:13 (KJV)

 

And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.  --  Rev 12:17 (KJV)

 

1.  Who is this woman ?

2.  Who is this man child ?

3.  Who is the remnant of her seed ?

 

 

 

 

Common Teaching : Israel has been cut off from God

 

But Was Israel Given Up Forever ?

 

Therefore will he give them up, until the time that she which travaileth hath brought forth: then the remnant of his brethren shall return unto the children of Israel.  --  Micah 5:3 (KJV)

 

 

 

The mystery of Israel's rebirth as a nation

 

For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.  --  Rom 11:25 (KJV)

The woman represents both physical and spiritual Israel

 

 

She is The Glorified Bride Of Christ

 

And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:  --  Rev 12:1 (KJV)

 

She is Physical Israel Who Flees Into The Wilderness

 

And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.  --  Rev 12:13 (KJV)

 

And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.  --  Rev 12:14 (KJV)

 

 

LORD, in trouble have they visited thee, they poured out a prayer when thy chastening was upon them.  --  Isa 26:16 (KJV)

 

Like as a woman with child, that draweth near the time of her delivery, is in pain, and crieth out in her pangs; so have we been in thy sight, O LORD.  --  Isa 26:17 (KJV)

        1.  There is a child who she brings forth

        2.  There are also other children ( brethren )
