Seven Spirits

John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne; -- Rev 1:4 (KJV)
And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God. -- Rev 4:5 (KJV)
Who maketh his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire: -- Psa 104:4 (KJV)

And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven. -- 2 Ki 2:11 (KJV)
And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets. -- Rev 8:2 (KJV)

The Seven Watchers
Uriel watches over the earth,
Raphael watches over the spirits in prison,
Raguel watches over the heavens,
Michael watches over God's people,
Sariel watches over the apostate angels who rebelled,
Gabriel watches over paradise, the Cherubim, and Seraphim
Remiel watches over the judgment of God
And, behold, six men came from the way of the higher gate, which lieth toward the north, and every man a slaughter weapon in his hand; and one man among them was clothed with linen, with a writer's inkhorn by his side: and they went in, and stood beside the brazen altar. -- Ezek 9:2 (KJV)
And the glory of the God of Israel was gone up from the cherub, whereupon he was, to the threshold of the house. And he called to the man clothed with linen, which had the writer's inkhorn by his side; -- Ezek 9:3 (KJV)
And the LORD said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof. -- Ezek 9:4 (KJV)
Guardian Angels

Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven. -- Mat 18:10 (KJV)
The Devil currently possesses the world

Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. -- Mat 4:1 (KJV)
And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungered. -- Mat 4:2 (KJV)
And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. -- Mat 4:3 (KJV)
But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. -- Mat 4:4 (KJV)
Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple, -- Mat 4:5 (KJV)
And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone. -- Mat 4:6 (KJV)
Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God. -- Mat 4:7 (KJV)
Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and showeth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; -- Mat 4:8 (KJV)
And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. -- Mat 4:9 (KJV)
Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. -- Mat 4:10 (KJV)
Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him. -- Mat 4:11 (KJV)
But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: -- 2 Cor 4:3 (KJV)
In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. -- 2 Cor 4:4 (KJV)
Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: -- Eph 2:2 (KJV)
Patron Angels or Rulers over the countries

Yea, whiles I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation. -- Dan 9:21 (KJV)
Then I lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a certain man clothed in linen, whose loins were girded with fine gold of Uphaz: -- Dan 10:5 (KJV)
His body also was like the beryl, and his face as the appearance of lightning, and his eyes as lamps of fire, and his arms and his feet like in colour to polished brass, and the voice of his words like the voice of a multitude. -- Dan 10:6 (KJV)
But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia. -- Dan 10:13 (KJV)
Then said he, Knowest thou wherefore I come unto thee? and now will I return to fight with the prince of Persia: and when I am gone forth, lo, the prince of Grecia shall come. -- Dan 10:20 (KJV)
But I will show thee that which is noted in the scripture of truth: and there is none that holdeth with me in these things, but Michael your prince. -- Dan 10:21 (KJV)

Then lifted I up mine eyes, and saw, and behold four horns. -- Zec 1:18 (KJV)
And I said unto the angel that talked with me, What be these? And he answered me, These are the horns which have scattered Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem. -- Zec 1:19 (KJV)
And the LORD showed me four carpenters. -- Zec 1:20 (KJV)
Then said I, What come these to do? And he spake, saying, These are the horns which have scattered Judah, so that no man did lift up his head: but these are come to fray them, to cast out the horns of the Gentiles, which lifted up their horn over the land of Judah to scatter it. -- Zec 1:21 (KJV)

Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty, and maketh it waste, and turneth it upside down, and scattereth abroad the inhabitants thereof. -- Isa 24:1 (KJV)
The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken this word. -- Isa 24:3 (KJV)
The earth mourneth and fadeth away, the world languisheth and fadeth away, the haughty people of the earth do languish. -- Isa 24:4 (KJV)
The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant. -- Isa 24:5 (KJV)
Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left. -- Isa 24:6 (KJV)
In the city is left desolation, and the gate is smitten with destruction. -- Isa 24:12 (KJV)
When thus it shall be in the midst of the land among the people, there shall be as the shaking of an olive tree, and as the gleaning grapes when the vintage is done. -- Isa 24:13 (KJV)
They shall lift up their voice, they shall sing for the majesty of the LORD, they shall cry aloud from the sea. -- Isa 24:14 (KJV)
Wherefore glorify ye the LORD in the fires, even the name of the LORD God of Israel in the isles of the sea. -- Isa 24:15 (KJV)
Fear, and the pit, and the snare, are upon thee, O inhabitant of the earth. -- Isa 24:17 (KJV)
And it shall come to pass, that he who fleeth from the noise of the fear shall fall into the pit; and he that cometh up out of the midst of the pit shall be taken in the snare: for the windows from on high are open, and the foundations of the earth do shake. -- Isa 24:18 (KJV)
The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean dissolved, the earth is moved exceedingly. -- Isa 24:19 (KJV)
The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage; (temporary dwelling place as a tent) and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again. -- Isa 24:20 (KJV)
And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall punish the host of the high ones that are on high, and the kings of the earth upon the earth. -- Isa 24:21 (KJV)
And they shall be gathered together, as prisoners are gathered in the pit, and shall be shut up in the prison, and after many days shall they be visited. -- Isa 24:22 (KJV)
Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed, when the LORD of hosts shall reign in mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, and before his ancients gloriously. -- Isa 24:23 (KJV)

A Psalm of Asaph. God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods. -- Psa 82:1 (KJV)
How long will ye judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah. -- Psa 82:2 (KJV)
Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy. -- Psa 82:3 (KJV)
Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked. -- Psa 82:4 (KJV)
They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course. -- Psa 82:5 (KJV)
I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High. -- Psa 82:6 (KJV)
But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes. -- Psa 82:7 (KJV)
Arise, O God, judge the earth: for thou shalt inherit all nations. -- Psa 82:8 (KJV)


Spiritual Powers and Angelic Rulers
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, -- Rom 8:38 (KJV)
Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. -- Rom 8:39 (KJV)

For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: -- Col 1:16 (KJV)
And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it. -- Col 2:15 (KJV)
To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God, -- Eph 3:10 (KJV)

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. -- Eph 6:12 (KJV)
The Seven Watchers (eyes) (Angels of the Presence)
Uriel - Watches over the earth

I saw by night, and behold a man riding upon a red horse, and he stood among the myrtle trees that were in the bottom; and behind him were there red horses, speckled, and white. -- Zec 1:8 (KJV)
Then said I, O my lord, what are these? And the angel that talked with me said unto me, I will show thee what these be. -- Zec 1:9 (KJV)
And the man that stood among the myrtle trees answered and said, These are they whom the LORD hath sent to walk to and fro through the earth. -- Zec 1:10 (KJV)
And they answered the angel of the LORD that stood among the myrtle trees, and said, We have walked to and fro through the earth, and, behold, all the earth sitteth still, and is at rest. -- Zec 1:11 (KJV)
And I turned, and lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came four chariots out from between two mountains; and the mountains were mountains of brass. -- Zec 6:1 (KJV)
In the first chariot were red horses; and in the second chariot black horses; -- Zec 6:2 (KJV)
And in the third chariot white horses; and in the fourth chariot grisled and bay horses. -- Zec 6:3 (KJV)
Then I answered and said unto the angel that talked with me, What are these, my lord? -- Zec 6:4 (KJV)
And the angel answered and said unto me, These are the four spirits of the heavens, which go forth from standing before the Lord of all the earth. -- Zec 6:5 (KJV)
The black horses which are therein go forth into the north country; and the white go forth after them; and the grisled go forth toward the south country. -- Zec 6:6 (KJV)
And the bay went forth, and sought to go that they might walk to and fro through the earth: and he said, Get you hence, walk to and fro through the earth. So they walked to and fro through the earth. -- Zec 6:7 (KJV)
Then cried he upon me, and spake unto me, saying, Behold, these that go toward the north country have quieted my spirit in the north country. -- Zec 6:8 (KJV)
And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree. -- Rev 7:1 (KJV)
And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, -- Rev 7:2 (KJV)
Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads. -- Rev 7:3 (KJV)
Raphael - Watches over the spirits in prison

And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; -- Luke 16:22 (KJV)
And in hell (HADES) he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. -- Luke 16:23 (KJV)
And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. -- Luke 16:24 (KJV)
But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. -- Luke 16:25 (KJV)
And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence. -- Luke 16:26 (KJV)


For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell (Tartarus), and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment; -- 2 Pet 2:4 (KJV)

And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day. -- Jude 1:6 (KJV)
For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: -- 1 Pet 3:18 (KJV)
By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison; -- 1 Pet 3:19 (KJV)
Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water. -- 1 Pet 3:20 (KJV)
