Two comings (e;rcomai) of the Lord

The Lord's 2nd Advent (parousi,a)

The Catching away (a`rpa,zw) of the saints

For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming (parousi,a) of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. -- 1 Th 4:15 (KJV)

The GLORIOUS revelation (avpokalu,ptw) of the Lord

We defined briefly what the GOSPEL or
good news means !
That we should be saved from our enemies, and from the hand of all that hate us; -- Luke 1:71 (KJV)
To perform the mercy promised to our fathers, and to remember his holy covenant; -- Luke 1:72 (KJV)
The oath which he sware to our father Abraham, -- Luke 1:73 (KJV)
That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve him without fear, -- Luke 1:74 (KJV)
SALVATION means that we have been set free from being held captive as a prisoner!
Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: -- Col 1:12 (KJV)
Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: -- Col 1:13 (KJV)
In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: -- Col 1:14 (KJV)
We are saved by grace through faith !
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: -- Eph 2:8 (KJV)
We are also saved by hope !

Our faith gives substance to the hope (or promise)
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. -- Heb 11:1 (KJV)
REMEMBER we said that the WHOLE creation was made or became subject to vanity

For the creature (kti,sij) was made subject to vanity (mataio,thj), not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, -- Rom 8:20 (KJV)

The Dangerous Warning of Paul
Is it possible to be moved away from the hope (or promise) ?

Is the current RAPTURE theory dangerous ?

The Mighty, Unspeakable, Secret Name of God
